Products & Differences
What is FluxBeam?
FluxBeam is a premium ferrofluid music visualiser. It uses ferrofluid suspended in a sealed chamber to “dance” in sync with your music or ambient sound. FluxBeam does not contain a built-in speaker – it’s an audio-reactive art piece designed to complement your existing speakers or headphones.
What is FluxOrb?
FluxOrb is our flagship ferrofluid visualizer and speaker in one. It combines a built-in speaker with a responsive ferrofluid chamber, so you get both immersive sound and hypnotic visuals from a single unit for your desk or living room.
What is FluxBot?
FluxBot is a compact, characterful mini robot Bluetooth speaker. It focuses on delivering clear, portable audio with a fun design. There is no ferrofluid in FluxBot – it’s a pure speaker, ideal for everyday listening, gifting or adding personality to your setup.
How do FluxBeam, FluxOrb and FluxBot differ?
FluxBeam is a visualiser only, FluxOrb is a visualiser + speaker, and FluxBot is a speaker only. Choose FluxBeam if you want a pure ferrofluid art piece, FluxOrb if you want both visuals and audio in one device, and FluxBot if you simply want a compact, fun Bluetooth speaker.
Is the ferrofluid safe?
Yes. In all ferrofluid products (FluxBeam and FluxOrb), the ferrofluid is permanently sealed inside the chamber and is not designed to be opened or handled. As with any electronic device, keep your product away from very young children and pets, do not attempt to open the casing, and avoid dropping or shaking the unit.
Do the ferrofluid products work without music?
FluxBeam and FluxOrb can be displayed as static art pieces when no audio is playing, but the ferrofluid only animates when it is reacting to sound. FluxBot does not contain ferrofluid, so there is no visual effect – it simply plays your audio.
Setup & Use
What’s included in the box?
Each product comes with the main unit and the required power and/or charging cable, along with a Quick Start Guide. Any additional accessories are listed on the relevant product page at checkout.
How do I set my product up?
Setup is straightforward for all products:
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface.
- Connect the power or charging cable as shown in the Quick Start Guide.
- Pair or connect your audio source (for FluxOrb and FluxBot) or follow the connection instructions for audio-reactive input (for FluxBeam, where applicable).
- Play your favourite music and enjoy.
Do I need a special app?
No special app is required to enjoy FluxBeam, FluxOrb or FluxBot. You simply connect them to your usual audio source as described in the Quick Start Guide. If we release an optional companion app in the future, it will be clearly mentioned on the product page.
Can I use these products with my phone, computer or turntable?
Yes. Our products are designed to work with common audio sources. For specific connection options (Bluetooth, cable, etc.), please refer to each product page and the printed guide supplied with your unit.
Can I leave the products on for long periods?
All products are designed for regular use. We recommend switching them off when not in use for extended periods, and following any usage guidance in the manual, particularly for heat and ventilation.
Orders & Shipping
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Australia and Ireland. International shipping will be added as we expand. Any new regions will be clearly listed at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Once dispatched, most orders arrive within a 7-10 working days. During busy periods (such as peak gifting seasons or major promotions), delivery may take slightly longer. Full details are available on our Delivery & Shipping page.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on all orders. Shipping rates are shown at checkout before you complete your order. We may offer free or discounted shipping during promotions, which will be clearly displayed on the site.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details (where available). If you have not received this, please check your spam folder or contact us with your order number.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
If you need to change your address, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we’ll do our best to update it. Once an order has shipped, changes are usually not possible.
Returns, Refunds & Warranty
What is your returns policy?
We want you to love your purchase. If you change your mind, you may be able to return your order within a set returns window, provided the item is unused and in resellable condition. Full details, including timeframes and conditions, are available on our Returns & Refunds page.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll review this and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our policy.
Are your products covered by a warranty?
Yes. All core hardware products (including FluxBeam, FluxOrb and FluxBot) are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period from the date of purchase. Exact warranty terms are listed on the product page and in your order confirmation.
How do I request a return or exchange?
Please contact us with your order number and the reason for your return. We’ll guide you through the process and provide any return instructions or labels where applicable.
Care & Maintenance
How do I clean my device?
Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cloths or submerging any part of the unit in water. For ferrofluid products, do not attempt to open the chamber under any circumstances.
Can I move my device around easily?
Yes, but always handle it carefully, keeping it upright and avoiding drops or heavy impacts. Treat it as you would any premium audio or display device.
Payments & Security
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major debit and credit cards, along with other secure payment methods shown at checkout. All payments are processed over encrypted connections.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Payments are processed by reputable, secure payment providers that comply with industry security standards.
Gifting & Other Questions
Can I send a product as a gift?
Absolutely. You can enter a different delivery address at checkout if you’d like to send your order directly to the recipient. We do not include pricing inside the box.
Will there be more colours or finishes?
We’re continuously developing new ideas. Any new variants or limited editions will be announced on our website and via our email newsletter.
